Let me answer your questions.

WILL YOU POSE US? I’M A LITTLE NERVOUS AND THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I’VE HAD A PHOTO SESSION.

I will definitely pose you and your family to your comfort level! Sometimes I work to capture your candid interaction, but you will never be left wondering what to do with your hands. In newborn sessions, my assistant and I take complete control of posing, ensuring both your newborn’s safety and comfort throughout the session.

CAN WE BRING ADDITIONAL PEOPLE TO THE SHOOT?

Currently, as Covid-19 precautions are in place, we are asking that extended family and carers not accompany families to the studio unnecessarily. If extended family are involved in the session, or if you need to bring siblings along, however, that’s completely fine and they are welcome to join you where necessary!

WHAT IF MY KIDS DON’T BEHAVE?

Children are an enigma. As a Mom myself, I know how unpredictable the behavior of little ones can be, and I completely understand how it feels to have a toddler who collapses into a puddle because it’s just a little too long past naptime. During your pre-session consultation, we’ll talk about all of the tips and tricks I have up my sleeve to make sure that your little ones have the best possible chances of behaving, and… if they are determined not to cooperate with us, I can promise I will still be able to capture magic in between whatever outbursts they can throw at me!

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SEE MY IMAGES?

Two weeks following your session, we will schedule a reveal – it will either be held via Zoom, or here in the studio. You’ll get to see the images themselves at this session!

CAN I GET PRINTS?

Most definitely! My priority is creating memories for you and your family that you’ll be able to admire on your walls and in your home for years to come. It’s not enough for me that you have digital images you can show friends on your phone. My goal is providing you with artwork worthy of becoming family heirlooms.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY SESSION?

The short answer, is we’ll talk about it! Before your session, you’ll have access to a wardrobe guide that helps you narrow down your planned outfits. Then, during your pre-session consultation, we’ll go over all of the details! We’ll discuss how you go about coordinating wardrobe pieces, and what we can use from the client closet. The closet has pieces for ages newborn through 1 year, as well as gowns for maternity clients that we can pick between for you.

HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY IMAGES?

The images you choose to print as wall art will be either shipped directly to your home, or they can be picked up in the studio. The images you choose to receive as digital files will be sent to you in an easy to use online gallery where you can download them.

HOW DOES THE SESSION FEE WORK?

My pricing is broken into two parts – your session fee ($150), and then collection fees starting at $700 for wall art and print sets. The minimum investment for both a session and wall art is $850.

ARE YOU TAKING PRECAUTIONS FOR COVID-19?

Yes! At Life Captured by Jamielynn we have been taking the CDC guidelines and all subsequent changes to those guidelines very seriously. Your safety and the safety of your family is extremely important to us, which is why we’ve implemented extra cleaning measures above and beyond the usual sanitization that is already in place in a studio such as ours. Both my assistant and myself are fully vaccinated, and are currently wearing masks during sessions, and social distancing as much as possible to ensure your comfort and safety. If you have further questions about the guidelines set in place for the studio, please feel free to reach out and ask! We’re more than happy to answer any questions you have. It’s very important to us that you feel completely comfortable during your session.

I WANT IMAGES OUTDOORS – DO YOU OFFER OUTDOOR SESSIONS?

I still offer outdoor images, when requested.
